A tour of discovery between the blue of the water and the blue of the sky.

A circular route for those who wish to discover varied and spectacular alpine landscapes, passing by the slopes of the Basodino Glacier and always staying overnight in sheltered accommodation.

Five days full of emotions and nature, five days of Alpine water: that's the promise of this new high-altitude route suspended over the Upper Maggia Valley, straddling the adjacent regions. There are countless lakes to discover. Sometimes it's the surprise of a tiny, hidden stretch of water set in a ravine in the mountain, or the ripple of a small lake that from afar attracts our curiosity and offers us its grassy beach for a well-deserved break, or the calm surface of a reservoir silently dedicated to the production of renewable energy. Or the flowing water: springs and waterfalls, rivulets and streams from which three of the main rivers of the Lepontine Alps spring: Maggia, Ticino and Toce. And that's not all. There is also frozen water: glaciers large and small illuminate our path.
