What can we learn from forests and trees ?
Reflections on the intelligence of trees and how it might inspire us in our lives
Trees, both resilient and fragile, have found ways to continuously adapt and colonise our planet for 350 million years. A walk in the forest soothes us and contributes to our well-being; what if trees could also inspire us in our lives and relationships? By bringing our senses to life, we will meet the trees and reflect on this question.
This outing is an invitation to go deep into a forest, to melt into nature and stop in front of the trees. We will observe them, feel the atmosphere, smell the air and imagine (or listen to) the whispers of nature.
We will discuss the origins and functions of these whispers, what they evoke in us and what inspiration they might give to our lives.
The empirical observations of our ancestors and modern science will guide us. Connecting this knowledge to our feelings can be a great catalyst for solutions to our daily challenges.
Ernst Zürcher's research and publications will help us in our approach; they will allow us, for example, to establish parallels between the ways in which plants interact with those we use daily, in order to derive ingredients that could help us in our social and professional interactions.
This day can be organised as a timeless journey, a workshop or a team building event for companies. In all cases, it will be about positioning ourselves as full members of nature and developing new individual and collective perspectives.
Will be communicated after having been developed with the trustee
